now, if we divide the square in two triangles by the diagonal. we get two right angle triangles where sides are the base and perpendicular. and diagonal is the hypotenuse.

→ d² = 2500 + 2500

→ d = √5000

→ d = 70.71m (approximately)

hence, the Length of the barricade is 70.71m
