Step-by-step explanation:

Let the common multiple be x.

The perimeter of original triangle is 3x and the perimeter of the new triangle is 4x.

Let the sides be a, b and c.

According to the first condition,

a+ b+c = 3x....(1)

According to the second condition,

a+5+b+5+c+5= 4x

a + b +c +15= 4x

a + b + c = 4x - 15.....(2)

As R.H.S. of both the equation is same,

3x = 4x - 15

3x - 4x = -15

- x = -15

x = 15

Perimeter of new triangle = 4x = 4× 15 = 60 cm
