Answer

area of the equilateral triangle = root 3/4 × 8×8

6.928 cm^2

area = 1/2 × 6 × h = 6.928

1/2 × 8 × h = 6.928

h = 6.928 / 4

h = 1.732 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of an equilateral triangle is found using the following formula

A=s^23/4 where s=8

A=8x8x3/4

A=27.71cm2.

Height of the equilateral triangle = a√3/2 where a is 8

Height = 8x3/2= 6.93
