(I) Area of equilateral triangle =√3/4* (side) ^2

=√3/4* 8^2

= √3/4*64

= √3* 16

area of triangle = 16√3

Now, √3 (correct to 2 decimal places),= 1.73

So, Area of equilateral triangle = 16*1.73 (√3value)

= 27.68 cm

(II) Area of equilateral triangle = 27.68 cm

Base. = 8

height => Area of triangle = 1/2 * b*h

27.68. = 1/2*8*h

  = >  \frac{27.68 \times 2}{8}  = h

 =  >  \: 6.92 = h

therefore, Height = 6.92
