We know that the area of an equilateral triangle is given by the formula

√3/4 × a^2 , where 'a' is the side of the triangle.

So area of the given triangle is

1.732/4 × 8^2

1.732/4 × 64,

Which by solving, we get area = 27.712!

And the height of an equilateral triangle is given by the formula,

√3/2 × a , where 'a' is the side of the triangle.

So, in the given triangle, height is equal to

1.732/2 × 8

1.732 × 4 = 6.928

As the question asks upto 2 decimal places,

Area = 27.71 cm^2

Height = 6.92 cm!!
