Area of triangle =
√(3)/4 a²
= √3/4 × 8²
= √3/4 × 64
= √3 × 16
= 16√3

OR

if the value of √3 is given
then the answer will be around 27 .....

Answer:

Concept:  each side of the equilateral triangle is equal and the same concept is used to find the area of the equilateral triangle.

Given: each side  of the equilateral triangle is 8cm.

To find: area of the equilateral triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

equilateral triangle are triangle whose all sides are equal.

so, the  formulae of the area of an equilateral triangle is \frac{\sqrt{3} }{4} a^{2}.

hence, putting the value of sides  a in the formulae, we will get

area=\frac{\sqrt{3} }{4} 8^{2}

area= 16\sqrt{3}cm square.

here, the question had not provided the value of \sqrt{3} so, the answer will be 16\sqrt{3} cm square.
