area of triangle = \sqrt{3}÷ 4 × 8 × 8

                       = √3 × 2 ×8

                         = √3 ×16

                         =   27.68

median of this triangle is also the perpendicular.

   by pythagoras thorem ,

  8^2 - 4^2 = height^2

64 -  16 =  height  ^2

height ^ 2 = 48

height = √48

height = 4 × √3

          = 4 ×  1.732

            =  6.92
