Each sieve tube cell and its neighbouring companion cell are called sister cells .why

Sieve tube cells don't have nucleus. They depend on the companion cells for their functions sieve tube elements and companion cells are of the same origin..... Hence they are known as sister cells... If it helps you mark it as brainliest answer
