Each student is to choose one animal or plant species of medical importance and study the
ecology of that species. The report is to include: title, introduction, identification of the subject species,
materials and methods including study species' ecology, description of structure, functions and life cycle
of subject species, description of habitat or microhabitat (niche), description of the population density and
biotic factors of the community in which the subject species is apart und descriplion of the species
concerned. Figures and tables and/graphs should show measured ecological factors affecting the
subject species.
Any new material / findings should be presented only once (in the tables or figures or in the text).
