Eagles eat snakes. Snakes eat frogs. So eagles are not dependent on plants, not even indirectly. Is it true ? Give a reason.​

It is false,

eagle is indirectly depends upon plants.

Because, Eages eat snakes, snakes eat frog, frog eats grasshoppers, grasshoppers eat plants.

In every cycle the flow of nutrients is continued. If there is deplection in producers than there will decrease in no. of eagles.

Therefore Flow of nutrients in ecosystem is Cyclic.

Eagle depends upon plants indirectly, whereas it depends upon snakes directly.
