Nitrogen is not taken by our body during the process of respiration, in fact, plants need it the most to survive which is not that essential for us. Our respiratory system only takes oxygen and leaves out carbon-di-oxide which is present from it. Nitrogen is a very cold substances which our nostrils's hair doesn't allow into our lungs.
