Earth inner core spins. But its movement is independent of others movement of Earth. The inner core moves in the same direction as Earth move on its axis. The inner core has actually gained speed over time and now spins faster than Earth itself. Though Earth's core spins fast , but it would require about thousand years to complete an orbit around the Earth . HOW?
