Earth is called a watery plant but yet there is scarcity of water because most of the water is salty which is unfit for drinking and the external use of fertilisers, chemicals ,cities not having water treatment plant result in the wastage of this 1% of the drinkable water now as we all know water cycle ,rain is a part of this cyclic process now for instance acid rain yeah its formed from the evaporation of some part of the drinkable water (majority sea water)but that water also gets destroyed or rather the perfect word should be wasted by reacting with marble or calcium carbonate and its true its very less but over a long time it makes up a big percentage of the wasted drinkable water

Earth is called a water planet but there is a shortage of water:
- The earth is called the water planet because much of the earth is covered by water.
- All the life we have depends on fresh water to support life.
- Water is not under threat, given the planet's constant water supply.
- However, much of the water on this planet is seawater that contains a lot of salt, and people need clean, fresh water to drink and irrigate farms.
- In many parts of the world access to clean water is a frightening and threatening resource.
