earth is known as blue planet because of its water but water actually is cloudless. how?

Seen from space the earth is mostly blue, because of the amount of water we have. The atmosphere is clear like glass. Standing on the surface of Earth the sky looks Blue looking out during the day. But it is Crystal clear at night. Looking from Space to the surface of the Earth at any moment of anytime the Oceans appear Blue. Notice that nothing but the water appears Blue. Because water reflects all light except blue.
