The earth’s Magnetic field or magnetosphere protects our atmosphere.
It prevents solar winds and the surface from getting charged.
The comparison has been made with the Mars naked atmosphere without magnetic field which posses’ huge threat to the atmosphere; and thus it was proved that the magnetic field of the earth, deflects solar winds and protect the atmosphere.
