Hello champ!!
Earth moves around the sun in elliptical orbit by the influence of gravitational force which acts racially inwards . This force behaviour is similar to that of a coloumbic force.
And the motion of earth at every instant is tangent to the path at that point.
Hope this helps!! ^_^

Answer ⇒ No.
Explanation ⇒ The Earth is moving around the sun in elliptical orbit which is little similar to the Circular Motion. In this the Velocity of the Earth is changing at every instant and is along the tangent. Also, By Kepler's law, its speed (meaning the magnitude of the velocity) also changes.
Since, the Velocity is changing at every instant, there is the change in acceleration also. As a result of which the Direction of the Force is not constant.
∴ Earth moving about the sun in elliptical orbit is NOT the example for force and motion in the same direction
