It is impossible to even think about the earth having no trees. Our life would be hell then. The trees are the main reason why we are still alive. Without them, there's no life. All the parts of the trees from roots to the leaves, all are responsible for the liveliness of the nature.

The trees gives us the most important source of life - oxygen. And they also gives us rain, food, wood etc.

Earth with no trees

It is very scary to even think of our Earth with no trees. Imagine what will happen to all the life forms if no trees exists on Earth? What if all the greenery of our Earth gets depeleted or destroyed?

Every life forms on earth from a very simple bacteria to complex organisms like humans, all of us require oxygen to stay alive. And we get this oxygen not other than the trees. If there are no trees, there will be no oxygen and we will die. Also, trees are responsible for rainfall and for removing the toxic gases from the atmosphere.

The survival of living organisms including humans will be threatened. And all the life forms on the Earth will perish in the absence of trees.

Explanation:

Life could not exist on Earth without trees because they produce most of the oxygen that humans and wildlife breathe. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen using the process of photosynthesis. ... Trees can also act as noise filters. Trees muffle urban clamor almost as well as walls do
