It is absolutely true earthly desires should not override the eternal nature of love. Love is a heavenly feeling which creates an atmosphere of happiness around you.  

In the story ‘An angel in disguise’ we see how the Thompsons’ life is filled after they adopt handicapped Maggie; initially Mrs. Thompson is reluctant to keep Maggie and wants her to be sent to a poorhouse; however, a few moments spent with the poor orphan light spark of love in her heart. Their household becomes full of sunshine of love.
