Ans = Plate boundaries are of course the most likely places to be struck by earthquakes, but seismic events can also happen within tectonic plates. In Southeast Asia, the plate boundary between the Indo-Australian and Eurasian plates (i.e. the Sunda Megathrust) is very likely to be hit by earthquakes (and tsunamis).
