Earthworms are known so because earthworms make and burrow holes in soil for their living and this makes the soil fertile and able to breath .

becoz it helps to fertile the soil very nicely by eating dead leaves and producing manure which is helpful 4 the soil... and inceases the fertility of the soil...
thus by this it helps the farmer ...and known as FARMERS. BEST. FRIEND !!!
