Shaheed Bhagat Singh was born in 1907, and born with the passion of patriotism. His contribution to the struggle for freedom can never be measured in words or expressed through phrases.
Like every other Indian, young Bhagat Singh was a follower of Gandhiji and his freedom struggle. When he was still in school, Bhagat Singh participated in Gandhiji's Non-cooperation Movement. As he grew up so did the passion for the country in his heart. He refused to get married as India's struggle for freedom was the only aim of his life. He got involved in many risky and dangerous revolutionary acts. Such acts often forced him to live a life of disguise. One such courageous act was when he and Batukeshwar Dutt threw a bomb in the assembly. The hall echoed with their shouts of inquilab zindabad
The brave fighter was sentenced to death in 1931. The true Indian had lived and died for his country.
Hope it will help you.
