Physical exercise increased the physical well being of a person and improve mental and academic performance. A lack of physical activity is known to increase the risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and decrease their mental performance. Since games and sports have proven benefits, all schools and colleges in India are giving more emphasis on games and sports since the last few decades. Physical Training (PT) teachers are appointed to encourage the students to take part in games and sports and also to improve their skills.
