MoreParents serve as good role models because often children will emulate their behaviors and achievements. Specifically for me, my father’s presence and interactions with me have led to positive outcomes. I have been fortunate to have a devoted father who played an active role in my life during my childhood. During my early years, my brother was born half deaf which forced my father to make the decision to be the primary caretaker of us. He was the one, who had to get us ready for school and at first it was struggle for him to do my hair every morning. I can distinctly remember my dad never knowing how to do any kind of hairstyle so in all my school pictures; my hair was always in a simple slick back ponytail. He would drop us off every morning,
