● This is because Jawaharlal Nehru is fond of children and as a memory of his achievement towards freedom his birthday is celebrated as Children's Day.

● As he loves children he is entitled as Chacha Nehru by Indians.

● In Hindi Chacha means uncle who is one of our best family member.
