The pilots in their bid to protect their country sometimes end up losing their life too. The pilots face many other hardships too like flying through hailstorms, enemy territory, etc.

It also has one of the best facilities of training its pilots. One can join the Indian Air force through the NDA, followed by training on a fighter jet before they are commissioned as pilots.
