Summer is the hottest season having longest days and shortest nights. It is quite longest season than other seasons of the year. During summer solstice, days become longest and nights shortest. Summer season generally starts soon after the Holi festival (in the month of March) and ends in the month of June. As day-length increases, summer season temperature become at highest peak point; however, as day-length decreases, summer temperature goes down slowly. When it becomes summer in Northern Hemisphere, it becomes winter in Southern Hemisphere. Weather becomes quite dry in this season however because of high temperature, warm air runs all through the season which is intolerable to us.

The summer season begins in March and ends in June. It is very hot in this season. May is the hottest month of this season. The days are longer and the nights areshorter. This season bring us the hotness of sun because the part of earth is facing straight rays of sun is facing summer.
In summer, mornings are quite cool but it becomes very hot in the afternoon. The sun rays are very hot. The hot wind blows during day time which can make us ill too. We begin to get perspiration. We drink ample of water in this season. The roads and streets are deserted in the afternoon. People like to sit under the fan and wear thin cotton clothes to protect themselves from heat. People mostly use air cooler, refrigerator for getting coolness and cold water.
In this season, the farmers plough their fields and keep them ready for the monsoon. The summer is boon to us as it helps monsoon to come the water vaporized in summer fall as rain in monsoon.
hope it helped you.......
