eg ; I love to sing.

compound sentence; a sentence in which two important subjects are focused upon, which is used in case of preferring a combined topic.

eg ; I love to sing and also to dance.

Complex sentence; a sentence which is used to describe the complexity of a subject (can be an object also). it consists of two independent sentences, which may or may not be related.

eg; i like to eat popcorn before watching a movie.
