(1) LHS = ( tan∅ + sec∅ -1)/(tan∅ - sec∅ + 1)
= (tan∅+ sec∅-1)(tan∅ - sec∅ +1)/(tan∅ - sec∅+1)²
= { tan²∅ - (sec∅-1)²}/( tan∅ -sec∅ + 1)²
= { tan²∅ - sec²∅ -1 +2sec∅}/( tan∅ -sec∅ + 1)²
=(2sec∅ - 2 }/(tan²∅ + sec²∅ +1 - 2sec∅ -2sec∅.tan∅ + 2tan∅}
= 2(sec∅ -1)/(2sec²∅ -2sec∅ - 2sec∅.tan∅ +2tan∅)
= 2(sec∅-1)/2(sec∅--1)(sec∅-tan∅)
= 1/(sec∅-tan∅)
= cos∅/(1 - sin∅)
= cos∅(1 + sin∅)/(1 -sin²∅)
= (1 + sin∅)/cos∅ = RHS

=sinA/(1 - cosA)
