P(x) = x^2 - 4

g(x) = x - 2

g(x) = 0

=> x - 2 = 0

=> x = 2

By Remainder theoram,

Remainder = (2)^2 - 4

= 4 - 4

= 0

Option (c) is correct...

Put x ka value = 2 ....as x-2 is given in x^2 -4 ....
You will get (2)^2 -4...
=4-4
=0
