motion define as ,when the body are change own position with respect to Time and also respect to a fixed point or ( reference point ) in our surroundings that types body under it's motion .

about periodic motion:-

when the body it's repeated it's motion at a regular intervals to Time , that types motion it's known as periodic motion.


example :-

motion of the Earth around sun.

motion of the moon around the sun.

there are many types of motion like:-

translatory motion.

circular motion.

rolling motion

all are the types of motion.
