ANSWER:

There is a systematic link between terrestrial and marine eco systems. The animals, water and the aquatic life is interdependent on each other.

EXPLANATION:

The movement of water from lands to the river or marine body is one of the links between them. The spreading of disease from terrestrial areas to the marine ecosystem is included.  There are also demographic relations between them such as physical, trophic, etc.

There is also a relation of habitats between them; there are some animals which can survive in both the conditions. The salmon fish, lives in one type of ecosystem and lays egg in another.
