Answer:

1)The difference between “immigrate” and “emigrate” is that “immigrating” is the act of entering a foreign country to live while “emigrating” is the act of leaving a country to live in another. Consider the differences in our above examples, My grandparents immigrated to the United States.

2)Working population refers to the number of people who are willing and eligible to work. Those who are above 15 years of age and willing to work are considered in this bracket. Retirement age differs from one country to another so respective working populations are affected accordingly.

3)A population pyramid, also called an "age-gender-pyramid", is a graphical illustration that shows the distribution of various age groups in a population (typically that of a country or region of the world), which forms the shape of a pyramid when the population is growing.

4) Sparsely populated areas:

Poor soil for Farming

Poor communications

Little industry

Extreme climates

e.g. too cold (mountains)

too hot (deserts)

Poor facilities/ services

Unreliable food/water supplies

Densely populated areas:

Industry Jobs

Good communications e.g. roads, transport etc...

Good services, wide variety, e.g. schools

Good entertainment facilities

More neighbourhoods for socialising

Pleasant climates

Good soils for farming

hope it helps
