since sides of square are equal therefore

all sides = 2.6

now taking a square ABCD

AB = 2.6

BC = 2.6 CD = 2.6

and AD = 2.6

now AC is a diagonal

AC is also hypotenuse and sides AB is base And BC is perpendicular so

by using Pythagoras theorem :-

Base ^2 + perpendicular ^2 = hypotenuse ^2

AB ^2 + BC ^2 = AC ^2

2.6^2 + 2.6 ^2 = AC ^2

6.76+6.76 = AC ^2

13.52 = AC ^2

√13.52 = AC

3.67 = AC

so diagonal of square = 3.67
