Before, finding the answer. Let's find out on how we cam find the answer.

  • First, we have to find the Volume of Cube by using the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Volume \: of \: Cube = (edge)^3}

  • Now, we have to find the Volume of small cube by using the same formula.
  • Then, we have to divide the Volume of Big cube with the Small Cube. Like this :

\sf No \: of \: Small \: Cubes = \dfrac{Volume \: of \:Big \: Cube}{Volume \: of \:Small \: Cube}

Given :

  • Edge of Cube = 14 cm
  • Edge of Small Cube = 2 cm

To find :

  • No of small cubes

Solution :

Volume of Small Cube = (edge)³

                                      = (14)³

                                      = 2744 cm³

∴ Volume of Small Cube is 2744 cm³.

Volume of Big Cube = (edge)³

                                  = (2)³

                                  = 8 cm³

∴ Volume of Big Cube is 8 cm³.

Now,

\sf No \: of \: Small \: Cubes = \dfrac{Volume \: of \:Big \: Cube}{Volume \: of \:Small \: Cube}

                            \sf = \dfrac{2744}{8}

                            \sf = 343

Therefore, 343 small cubes can be fit.
