Dhrupad,the style of hindustani
music was to be sung by men and since long ,
was believe to be sung by masculine
voices. But any people firmly believe
that Dhrupad is bound by not such
restrictions. It is like soft and subtle
as any of the another styles and there is
no reason how women cannot sing it.
