The world's oldest shoe, created more 5500 years ago discovered in a cave in Armenia June 2010. The shoe, along with a broken pot some other objects, was found by Diana Zardaryan, Armenian student higher studies. The size 4 shoe was so well-preserved that even lace was intact. Perhaps the cool dry conditions
of the cave helped preserve the shoe.
