Dear Editor , 
             Television is a powerful influence in developing value systems and shaping the behavior of a  person.But , much of today's TV programming is violent.
                     Watching violence and crime on TV  has some bad effects .They are -
The children become "immune"  to the horror of violence.
They begin to accept violence as a way to solve problems in life.
Sometimes they begin to imitate the violence they observe on television.
                        Children more easily influenced by TV violence. 
Thus showing violence and crime on TV must be avoided .Please do take this problem seriously
