Education for all is (b) still a distant dream because-:

  • Education is one of the most important and much-needed parts of human life for an overall development of both an individual and the nation as a whole. Investing and focusing on education would mean investing in the development of the nation.
  • Education for all be it the whole world or India, is still a distant dream as we still lack the infrastructure for it. Even if infrastructure like schools, education centres, and colleges are there then in many areas proper maintenance is not there and facilities are in worse conditions.
  • The huge gap between public and private education makes it even more difficult as private ones charge high rates of money to provide quality education. The marginalised or economically downtrodden people who are caught in the vicious cycle of poverty cannot even dream to pursue private education as they shall not be able to meet the funds. The education provided by the government or other public firms is either free of cost or at lower costs. Most of the time they do not provide quality education at all.
  • If one wants to cross the bridge and achieve education for all then one has to increase awareness regarding the importance of education should be increased. NGOs and rich ones should come forward and make donations should be made for improving the required education. Educational programs should be conducted in rural areas and this shall increase the literacy rate of the nation as well.
