Even today female infanticide, dowry and associated dowry deaths are disgraceful. But why on earth do these practices flourish triumphantly in India? The answer lies in the root.
The greatest anchorage of a civilisation lies in its Education. A strong base built on education can never uproot a nation. Each and every citizen becomes aware of his or her duty and rights. In fact Education is an important game changer. If we see today’s India we can mark the changes. Thanks to the endeavour of Gandhiji and Dr. Ambedkar untouchability has been totally banned. With education the lives of the under-privileged are fast improving.
Women are the greatest strength of India. We find renowned women economists, doctors, teachers, lawyers. With education women now can fight for their rights and fend for themselves. Today’s India is a much better India. Cholera, tuberculosis, small pox have all been eradicated due to education. Hence we may conclude that Education is an important game changer.
