Answer:

The passage of domestic wastes to the main sewer is done by a system called Sewage system.

This passage mainly occurs due to gravity so, external pressure is not required.

The pipes from homes, offices are connected like a network that reaches the main sewer where everything is collected.

But sometimes in a low lying area, sewage pumps are installed which applies an acting force for the passage of wastes.

Accumulation of the waste in the sewage system will damage the system or the pipe might break open as it gets overflowed with wastes.

Transforms are the electrical device which helps in voltage stabilisation. So, if there is a problem with electric current, the pump will not work or will be affected, which in turn affects the sewage system.

So, by removal of pump and transformer, the sewage system will be blocked by wastes and will not be collected in main sewer.
