Educational system in India is mostly examination and career-oriented. The student joins an
educational institution with the idea of getting education. But soon he learns that what is important
is examination and not knowledge. Eminent professors start their lectures with what is important
for examinations. The student slowly develops a distrust for knowledge. The classrooms are over-
crowded the teachers are uninteresting, there is no playground, there are hardly any books in the
library, there is no college hall where all the students of the college can meet there is no proper
furniture,
Then the mushroom growth of colleges and universities in the country has created another
problem. Students from ordinary families are now coming to these institutions. No one would say
that it is not good. But the administration and educationist should have thought that education, is

college-going children and can have little control over them. The institutions do not help them

But the guardians and parents are not even informed about the progress of their children
and wards. So the student is left alone without the control of parents, without any guidance from
his teachers, without any openings for the expression of his excess energy. Then, why blame him
if he responds to the unhealthy atmosphere and falls in meshes of unrest and indiscipline describe its presi writing
