The Scouting and Guiding mission is to contribute to the kids education, through a value system. This is based on a Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world such that people are self-sustained as individuals and they play a key role in building a constructive society.

Hence , in the revised pattern of the ten -year S.S.C course, scouting/guiding has been introduced as a curricular optional program .

Scouting / guiding is considered to promote patriotism , social consciousness, Team spirit and habits of discipline in the students .
