Edward Jenner is the person who invented vaccines for various diseases. He saw that milkmaids took care of cows having cow pox but they themselves never got small pox. He took a pustule of cow pox and injected it into an eight-year-old boy's body. There were no signs of small pox. This is how he invented vaccines.
