EE has many times greater energy density per unit weight as compared to per unit of carbohydrate or protein.

Explanation:

EE is the energy expenditure which is defined as the number of calories (energy) a human burn in one day.

My energy expenditure is 2518 calories per day.

                                     ⇒ My EE = 2518 c

Protein and carbohydrate are both convert into energy for daily work for a human. But, body breaks protein into energy more easily as compared with the carbohydrate. If we do not do anything, the carbohydrate converts into weight but in case of protein, you have to work or you will get an headache.
