The EEG signal in a normal person depends on the person's state of mind and the person's emotions.
Alpha waves: The normal electrical activity of the brain when it is in consciousness and the brain is relaxed. The frequency of alpha waves is 8 to 13 Hz.
Beta waves: The normal electrical activity of the brain when it is in consciousness and it is in alert mode. The frequency of beta waves is 18 to 25 Hz.
Theta waves: The electrical activity observed in the brain under certain conditions. The frequency of theta waves is 4 to 7 Hz.
Delta waves: The electrical activity of the brain when the person is asleep. The frequency of delta waves is 1 to 8 Hz.
Hope it helps you
