agriculture has very adverse effects on soil like soil degradation and erosion because of two reasons
- first the use of insecticides and the pesticides lead to soil degradation as the Chemicals present in them degrade the soil along with making it useless after a few growths
- agriculture needs regular watering of the crops due to which the top most layer of the soil that is the purest and the most mineral rich soil gets eroded by the flow of water at regular intervals is leads to soil erosion .
