The air and noise pollution causes various health hazards in traffic police including lung cancer and hypertension.

EXPLANATION:

  • We are living in a time where there are ever-increasing vehicles on the roads every day which is increasing vehicular pollution day by day.
  • And, people worst affected by these are traffic police because they had to be present in area where both vehicular exhaust and vehicular noise causes pollution.
  • They can inhale the maximum amount of chemicals like sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter including the range of 2.5 PM and 10 PM which have been identified to cause severe lung damage which can lead to cancer.
  • Second, they are exposed to high sound because of the constant honking of vehicles, they are exposed to the sounds more than 60 decibels which have been identified to cause headaches, hypertension, anxiety, etc.
  • So, they all should be provided with a pollution mask to counter the pollutants in the air during breathing and they should also be provided ear cuffs to counter high level of sounds.
