Effect of forest fire on environment:
- loss of ecosystem and biodiversity: We all now there are wide range of flora and fauna in a forest. Forest fire damage the habitate and adaptable land of animals and plant specoes. It kills the plant life and force the animals out of the region or even killing them.
- forest degradation: Forest fire are take place mostly in dry tropical forest which cause the forest degradation. It can reduce the quality of certain forest features like soil fertility, biodiversity and ecosystem.
- air pollution: Plant involves in atmospheric air by taking carbon dioxide, green house gases, and later give back oxygen. While forest fire it damage the trees and plant life it causes increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere leading to climate change or global warming and lead to massive air pollution.
- soil degradation: Forest soil contain a large number of natural features that helps the life forms and organic activities. The forest fire kills the beneficial microorganism which involve in soil microbial activities. and the forest fire also cause the soil erosion and damage to the nutritive value of the soil.
- impact on human well being and health: Forest fire causes smoke and dust which effect the human health such as breathing discomfort can worsen the health of people with allergies and respiratory disorders.
