effects of Rinderpest in africa in 1890s. Ans: Rinderprest arrived inafrica in 1880.Within two years ,it spread in the whole continent reaching cape town(Africa's southernmost tip ) within five years.

Rinderpest deeply affected the life of African natives. The African people were totally dependent on there animals but due to the disease spread among cattles there all cattle died and there was no source of income to the people. So it affected the cattles as well as the livelihoods of african people.
