Causes of Global warming :-

Global warming is caused due to the Greenhouse effect. So let's take a look at what causes this infamous Greenhouse effect.

1) Burning of fossil to generate electricity releases toxic gases into the environment. These gases trap the sunlight and doesn't let it escape making the atmosphere hotter.

2) Trees have been called the Green lungs of Earth since ages. But continuous deforestation has been putting Earth at risk. With green cover vanishing and the pollution rate increasing there is no one to stabilize the climate .

3) Do you know that cultivation can cause global warming? Yes it's true. Some fertilizers release nitrous oxide into the air that is a greenhouse gas.

4) And of course the vehicles. The vehicles release the second largest amount of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Effects of Global warming --

1) Sea levels are going down. In the coming years many islands can sink down if the current trend of global warming goes on.

2) Ice melting from glaciers. This is what will increase the Sea levels. Melting of ice can also cause disasters in the mountainous regions.

3) Global climate change. Some places are already facing hot and dry climates and some places are experiencing chilled weather .

4) Global warming will affect endangered species. The coral reefs will go extinct if the pollution levels goes on increasing.

5) Increase in number of deaths and diseases. Every year , there is a report of people dying due to pollution. There has been increase in number of asthma, bronchitis patients.

Hope This Helps You!
